Brancaster beach

Brancaster beach

What a superb walk we had today at Brancaster beach. Over a mile of sandy beach expanse, the sea gently rolling in.

There were a few people there, including a man walking his 14 week-old labrador puppy, Django, his Bearded Dragon on his shoulder. That's Norfolk!

The grassy sand dunes behind, where for a while the only sounds were the calls of skylarks and the distant barking of the seals on Scolt Island. We finished with a bowl of Brancaster mussles at the White Horse, renowned in the parts and out.
