Norfolk in May
The wheat is as high as a Fergus's eye

I confess that I don't really know what to do about the difference in emphasis between this Ghost blog and my Substack. I sort of decided that shorter comments on topical thoughts would go onto the Substack, whereas more carefully-considered and durable writings might go on here.

I've been concerned lately at accusations that Substack promotes far-right posts but that seems to be true of most media, social and antisocial, and I don't really want to talk about issues of free expression and algorithms and radicalisation here. There's always so much to be said.

I don't think I fit in very well on Substack, anyway, as it seems to be populated mainly by famous writers or those who aspire to fame. I don't aspire to either, truth be told and, in case I am so busy these days that I have neither the time nor the mental bandwidth to write.

Oh well.

Anyway, we went to Norfolk again last week, and Spring is resplendent. So please do enjoy this snaps. One day I'll find time to take proper pictures but today is not that day.
