Having myself a time
I'd previously avoided Conference like the plague for exactly that reason. Sure enough my throat started to itch on the return train journey and I've been quite unwell all week.
It was worth it though. I had a lovely time. High spots were voting for the first time ever on the Make Music Matter motion, finding myself part of the winning quiz team and the Communioke, though my card was not picked this time. Must work on that for next time. The weather was glorious and it was a great way to catch up with people, though I still don't know that many people yet. Need to work on that.
